Glagolitic inscription

A new wooden door frame with an inscription in Glagolitic script, the oldest known Slavic alphabet, generally agreed to have been created in the 9th century by Saint Cyril, a Byzantine monk from Thessaloniki. It reads, in modern Croat: “Stari Grad”, meaning “Old City”.
