Karen traditional “Don dancing” by two groups of young men, women and children at the Festival grounds during the celebrations of Karen New Year in Taungale, near Hpa-an, the capital of Kayin (Karen) State, Myanmar (Burma). Fast paced, these songs and dances are expressions of pride in Karen culture and aspirations.
