Tourists pose with a lifesize photo of the late Emir of Bukhara, Emir Said Mir Mohammed Alim Khan, below the viewing platform at the harem quarters of the Emir's Summer palace. Alim Khan was the last descendent of Genghis Khan to rule over a part of what was the Mongol Empire and reigned as an absolute monarch from 3 January 1911 to 30 August 1920.
