Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre
The Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre is "a tribute to the men and women who pioneered the outback". The Australian Stockman's Hall of fame was formed from a conviction that there was a need to capture and record the fast disappearing culture and unique history of Australia"s pioneers. A commitment was made to establish a monument to the people that created that history. The Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame coordinates a variety of events during the year; these include Opera at the Hall on Easter Saturday, The Drover's Reunion and Outback Muster in May and The Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame Pro Rodeo and Longreach Diamond Sports Shears in July. Cost is $5 Adult, $3.50 Concession, $2 Children/students, Children under 8 are free. |
