Previous Aboriginal Dance in the Northern Territory
Warlpiri men dance a "purlapa" traditional dance in Lajamanu, a Warlpiri Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. They are decorated with "wamurlu", chopped plant fibres that may be coloured red with ochre or kept white, glued on with sugar water.
