Previous Dances from Aboriginal Australia
Warlpiri men perform a "Purlapa" traditional dance in the bush near Lajamanu, a Warlpiri Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. They are decorated with "wamurlu", chopped plant fibres that may be coloured with red ochre or kept white; in this non-sacred dance it is glued to the body with sugar water.
