Aboriginal Children from the Northern Territory

Twelve youngsters from different Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory, speaking different languages and having a great diversity of lifestyles; there is a great variety in customs and ceremonies too, reflecting the environment where these children are growing up.

But these kids all share the same joys of life, growing up in the bush in an extended family, learning their kinship relationships, language, customs and ceremonies. Childhood is generally a happy time in the outback and these children seem to make the most of it.
