Cycad Palm nuts, that used to be a source of food for Aboriginal people. Because it contains cyanide, the pounded nuts had to be soaked in water before being baked to a damper. At Manangoora, an Aboriginal homestead on the coast of the Gulf of Carpentaria east of Borroloola.
