Previous Lajamanu region: The edge of the Tanami
Aboriginal boys are swimming in Battle Hole, a waterhole on Battle Creek about 70 km from Lajamanu Community beyond the "28 Mile". This was probably named after a clash of white settlers with local Aborigines in the old days.
