Previous Along Namatjira Drive in Central Australia
The Finke River (known locally as "Larapinta" or serpent) flows into a deep, permanent waterhole at Glen Helen Gorge, towards the end of the sealed road, 130 km to the west of Alice Springs. There is a tourist resort here.
