Just one of the jobs that needed doing: a horse that was "too wild" is undergoing castration without anesthetic at Wadungula Homeland Centre (Police Lagoon), near Borroloola, south of the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Northern Terrritory. Many of the local Garawa people are involved in stock work.
