Previous Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Central Australia
"Liru's Nose", one of the many significant Dreaming Sites of the Anangu people on a sheer cliff at the southern face of Uluru (Ayer's Rock). The site is associated with a battle in which Kulikudjeri, one of the Liru (venomous snake) men, had his nose chopped off with a digging stick by the mother of a young warrior of the Kunia (harmless carpet snake) whom he had killed. His nose is still lying at the bottom of the cliff.
