The Mona Mona Mayi Wunba dance group from Kuranda, 25 km northwest of Cairns, performs at the Laura Festival, Cape York, in Far North Queensland. They start with a dance by boys and girls, depict cassowaries (a large flightless bird) feeding, a fisherman attacked by a crocodile, girls collecting bush tucker and end with a great finale.
