Previous Henbury Meteorite Craters, Central Australia
The largest of the Henbury Meteorite Craters, about 180 m wide and 15 m deep,140 km south of Alice Springs in Central Australia, gauged out in the landscape around 4700 years ago. Twelve craters have been identified, some not more than 6 m wide and a few cm deep.
