Ottoman Bridge

The Ura e Mesit, a fine Turkish arched bridge over the river Kir at the village of Mes, 8 kilometres north east from Shkodra. It was built by Pasha Mehmet Bushati in 1768. It is over 100 metres long, with 13 arcs of stone, the largest one being 22 metres wide and 12 metres tall.
