Aboriginal Dancing in the Northern Territory

A Warlpiri man dances the “Parnta purlapa” traditional dance in Wampana camp, Lajamanu community in the Northern Territory. He is decorated with “wamurlu”, chopped plant fibred that may be coloured red with ochre or kept white; in this non-sacred dance it is stuck on with sugar water.
