Yarri and Jacky Jacky's breastplates

The breastplates that had been presented to Yarri and Jacky Jacky, two Wiradjuri men who saved up to 69 residents of the Gundagai township that was built on the floodplain of the Murrumbidgee river. These breastplates of the “Heroes of Gundagai” were found in Cootamundra and in a paddock at Tenandra and donated to the Gundagai Historical Museum.
