Young Yanyuwa boys being prepared for their “Marndiwala” initiation ceremony in Borroloola, near the south coast of the Gulf of Carpentaria in the Northern Territory. While the men sing, hairstring (made from human hair) is tied around the boys' waists while the women dance.
