The Kuku Yalanji Bamanga Bubu Ngadimungku dance group from Mossman Gorge in Far North Queensland performance at the Laura Festival where they depict different scenes: traditional healing, hunting and spearing a crocodile and the behaviour of a cassowary, a large flightless bird, as it walks and feeds, followed by the typical “shake-a-leg” dances.
