St. Mark's Church roof

The St. Mark’s Church (Crkva svetog Marka), the parish church of old Zagreb in the Upper Town – Gradec, or Gornji Grad. It must have been built as early as the 13th century, but in the second half of the 14th century, it was radically reconstructed and turned into a late Gothic church of the three-nave type. On the roof, tiles represent the coat of arms of the Triune Kingdom of Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia and the arms of Zagreb.
