Torture in Kyrenia Castle

A display of torture on the rack in a dungeon chamber of the Lusignan period, as happened in the years 1367-1368 in Kyrenia Castle. Especially from 1310, the year that King Henry II came here to rebuild the Cypriot Kingdom, the dungeons at the castle were filled with members and knights of the royal family; delinquent aristocrats with their servants were thrown into single cells, naked and barefooted.
