Church and mosque, Pamuklu (Tavros)

The mosque and Greek Orthodox church, now disused or also converted to a mosque, in the village, once named Tavros and inhabited by Greek Cypriots. In 1974 they were expelled and the village, renamed Pamuklu by Turkish Cypriots has been mainly used for the settlement of Turkish nationals brought in from Turkey in 1976 and 1977.
