Taşkent Massacre description

Description of the “Taşkent Massacre” of 15 August 1974 when Greeks massacred Turkish Cypriots, most from the village of Tochni, about halfway between Larnaca and Limassol. After a long research and identification process, the remains of the victims were interred here. The village of Vouno was renamed Taşkent, the Turkish name for Tochni.
