Salahi Şevket Sokak, North Nicosia

Şehit Salahi Şevket Sokak, the main street in the centre of Arabahmet, to the border fence in the old neighbourhood in the south-west of North Nicosia. It is named afyer a martyr, who died on 23 December 1963 as a result of Greek attacks after the fights between Greek and Turkish Cypriots on the night between 20–21 December 1963.
