Ancient Kourion

Earthquake House, Kourion

The Earthquake House, a private residence, built in the late 1st or early 2nd century CE, remodelled in the mid-4th century and destroyed by the massive earthquake that occurred after the mid 4th century (365 CE). In the ruins of this house, an image of everyday life in Kourion has been preserved.
