St. George Xorinos Nestorian Church

The Nestorian Church, officially known as the Church of St. George the Exiler (Xorinos), originally built in Gothic style in 1360-1369 as a church belonging to the Church of the East, an ancient Nestorian branch of Eastern Christianity and converted to a Greek Orthodox Church in 1905 during the British era, after centuries of use as a stable for camels in the Ottoman era.
