The Cathédrale

The Roman Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de L'Assomption or Cathédrale de Port-au-Prince), with its striking architecture was built between 1884 and 1914 and dedicated on 13 December 1928. The roof and the towers flanking the main entrance collapsed in the devastating earthquake of 12 January 2010.
