The spectacular Amalfi Coast

View over Positano

The town of Positano and the beautiful Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana), in Campania along the Gulf of Salerno. Positano was a relatively poor fishing village during the first half of the 20th century but began to attract large numbers of tourists in the 1950s and now lives mainly from tourism.
