Samcheok, Gangwon Province

Jukseoru

Jukseoru, on a cliff along the Osipcheon Stream in Samcheok, is a “nugak” traditional building whose floor is supported by a set of pillars that act as buttress for the whole house. It was popular among aristocrats and used as a place to entertain government officials.
