Hwaeomsa Temple, South Jeolla Province

Hwaeomsa hall

The small hall next to Daeungjeon Hall at Hwaeomsa (“Flower Garland Temple”), on the slopes of Jirisan mountain and dating from the Baekje Era in 544, burnt down during the Japanese invasions of Korea in the 1590s and rebuilt during the Joseon Era.
