Statues enshrined on the altar of Gakhwangjeon Hall at Hwaeomsa, the “Flower Garland Temple”, a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. On the left is the Buddha Sakyamuni, attended by the Bodhisattva Manjusri, with in the centre Amitabha, the “Buddha of the future”.
