Bayankhongor aimag

Bayankhongor in the southwest of the country is one of the largest provinces. Its capital is also called Bayankhongor. The flag is light blue with the provincial emblem in the centre. It shows a saddled elephant with a column and seated figures; it is surrounded by an ornamental border, tumen nasan, symbolising eternity, with at the top the “Soyombo”, the national emblem.
