Kayah State

Kayah State, formerly Karenni State is in eastern Myanmar, on the Thai border. The area is 11,670 km² and its capital is Loikaw. It has a population of around 210,000, primarily Karenni, also known as Red Karen or Kayah, a Sino-Tibetan people. Its flag features three horizontal stripes of red, blue and green with a traditional dancer in yellow on its central stripe.
