Kasthamandap and Maju Dega Temple

Kasthamandap, literally “Wood-Covered Shelter”, a reconstructed three-storied public shelter, that had collapsed in the 2015 earthquake. Behind it in the background is the Maju Dega Temple, dedicated to Shiva, of 1692. It too was destroyed in the earthquake, but rebuilt in 2018.
