Pehikapw Sapwawas

Pehikapw Sapwawas, the communication centre of Nan Madol, where all news for the common people was communicated. A man would broadcast the news in a loud voice. The message was repeated by drumming code to people who lived far away. On Sapwawas only people of high nobility were buried in a tomb; Costan Alfons squats on the tomb.
