FRETILIN, 1974

FRETILIN (Frente Revolucionária de Timor-Leste Independente) is the liberation movement movement that fought for the independence of East Timor from 1974 to 1998, first against Portuguese colonial rule and then against the Indonesian annexation. Its flag (with or without the name of the organisation) became the basis of the National flag.
